Title: Phase 90 replacement switch
Post by: Chill on June 10, 2006, 10:55:45 PM
A friend's MXR Phase 90 recently had the switch die.  It's a fairly new pedal, within the last year or two.  The switch is a DPDT mini with wire PCB leads.  Do you know if Small Bear's part "Switch - Alpha 107-SF12020-L DPDT SKU: 0203" will fit the pedal and PCB?

the phase 90 i fixed once had the DPDT soldered right into the PCB. it was a pain in the ass. if yours is wires then you're more fortunate. only thing working against you is the dimensions of the switch. take note of the dimensions, and if theres a picture on smallbear of the switch in question, normally you can eyeball it to see if it'll fit, if not...big deal you're out maybe $5...and then you've got a DPDT for effects down the road ;-)

Which switch did you use?  It's probably the same one, as this one is PCB mounted, with what look like fat wires for terminals.
