Hi !
I had my fuzz face working in PNP Positive Ground perfectly but I decided to have this pedal in my pedalboard without caring about batteries.
The pedal was made by another person (buyed from guitar gadjets) but I flipped the condenser, power, ... as indicated.
I rewired everything as http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/diagrams/fuzzface_lo_pn_3pdt.gif (http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/diagrams/fuzzface_lo_pn_3pdt.gif) and now the pedal isn't working anymore !
When bypassed the sound of the guitar is normal. When ON the sound is weak and the volume lower.
Another interesting thing is that the voltage in Q2 was 5.0 before and now is 10 !
Any idea ?
That's exactly the same layout I used and it works great!
Did you include the jumper?
Did you try flipping the transistors?
All I can think of for now...
The transistors are to be flipped ? :-\
No, I guess not... my mistake. the only other things are the old jumper has to be cut and check the differences in your outboard wiring. If there's an led and 3pdt switch included it's completely different pos ground compared to neg ground.

Mine is now like the last image, but is not working anymore.
here's the one without 3pdt and led

Mine has 3PDT switch and led.
I will post a picture tomorrow. Maybe you'le find my mistake.
But I'm afraind that i've burned something...
One thing I've done is to accidentally wire up a 3pdt switch SIDEWAYS! Easy to do with those 9 lugs...
I used to test the switches connections first with a DMM.
But now I look through the lug's 'needleholes' so I can look through three 3PDT lugholes...then the bypass jumper goes across the top.
It's working now ! :-)
Don't know for sure what it was but maybe a broken wire :-/
But now when the guitar volume is a 0 it hums. I'll try the 1000uf capacitor.
