Post by: petesguitar1 on August 30, 2006, 08:22:32 PM
Just wondering if anyone can help me with some parts. i'm looking for orange drop caps for pedals, not amps, and small pots (I buy mine from dick smith and they are too big for the knobs.

I think banzaieffects.com has low voltage orange drops and 16mm alpha pots. I don't think you can find smaller pots than that
If knobs can't fit it's shaft size that's the problem. Try finding ones with 6mm shaft and not 6.35mm (1/4")

Hi,

You could try Jaycar. They have 24,16 and 9mm pots

Aye, those 9mm jaycar ones are expensive, but very cool. You can fit a lot of pots in a small box:

Indeed, I had to sub a lot of Lins for Logs, and in some cases use different pot values all together.
In regards to price, if you compare Futurlec to Jaycars prices, its like futurlecs prices are in Yen!

Altronics in Australia carry some of the small Alps pots as well. Might be worth checking.
