ive made a arbitor fuzz face using the schimatics from the fuzz central site.
this is my first pedal and im a newb at electronics, and my pedal does not work.
the pedal sounds like a crap blown speaker and its very basey, cuts in and out like it has a noise gate on it or somthin.
*transistors
Q1 e=0
b=.10
c=.25

*The Switch,
lug 1 is to effect input.
lug 2 is from input jack tip.
lug 4 is to effect output (lug 2 on the volume pot).
lug 5 is to output jack tip.
lugs 3&6 are shorted together.
*The Pcb
#1 to lug 1 of switch
#2 has 4 grounds going to it lugs1 of volume and fuzz pot, and the sleeves of the input and output jacks
#3 fuzz pot lug 2
#4 is -9v lead from battery
#5 fizzpot lug 3
#6 volume pot lug 3
*Input jack
the tip goes to switch lug 4 (effect input).
the ring goes to the pos. batery lead.
the sleeve goes to ground.
*Output jack
the tip comes from lug 5 of the switch.
the sleeve goes to ground.

also i got a paper from smallbear that says a the resistor values for the transistors but i dont know wich reistor value goes where.
It sounds like your transistors are misbiased. You'll need to play around with the values of the resitors - or put in a trim pot - to get it to smooth out. This is common - nothing to worry about.
You should take a look at the schematic and not just the layout. Mess with the values of the 8.2K and 100K for starters. The part values from Small Bear will coincide with the schematic from Small Bear. You'll need to get a copy of the Small Bear schematic AND the Fuzz Central schematic to compare.

i took a look athe the bear face shimatics from smallbear im a total newb, and i cant seem to match up that say r6 on the bearface diag is maybe the 100k resistor on the fuzzcentral shimatic im so confused ???
I took a quick look at the Bear Face schem on that site. R6 is 100K. There's only one resistor on a Fuzz Face that's close to 100K - that may help you a little. So YES you're correct - R6 on the Bear Face is the same as the 100K on the bottom of the Fuzz Central Layout. The schematics are virtually identical to every Fuzz Face. The problems are germanium is very unstable so you need to adjust a few values every now and them - the wonders of working with germanium.
So, mess around with the value of that 100K resistor for starters. See if it smooths things out. If not mess with the 8.2K reisistor. You may need to change the values of both. On the Small Bear (Bear Face) schem the 8.2K is R5. Hang in there - it will work eventually. It's very rare that something works on the first try.

These values should be easy to sort out, and should be proportionately similar to values shown on any FF schematic.
Q1C connects to Q2B and gets a 33k [could be 100k
Q1B Gets a 100k, the other end of the resistor to Q2E
Q1 emitter is Gnd.
You should read a small DC resistance between Q2E and gnd. with the gainput turned up...something like 1k.
Q2C...the bias resistor is around 8k2, but I use a trimpot there instead.
And...something around 1k should go between the two collector resistors on Q's 1&2.
I'd make certain the values are close to what a FF specifies.
