hey guys
im looking to make a uni-vibe sounding pedal in a compact enclosure.
i listened to the love pedal magicboy demos and they sound really nice.
anyone know how he managed to get that sound into a small form factor box?
anyone got a trace of it or a similar uni-vibe sounding circuit that is not to complex?
cheers

as far as making an easy univibe type pedals goes just look at John Hollis' EasyVibe http://www.hollis.co.uk/john/circuits.html (I think theres a PCB layout on geofex.com)
hey ulysses
i believe the lovepedal magic boy is a phase 45 with a univibe mode.

Exactly.
I marked in red the 6 differences between the magicboy and the Phase 45.
Quite funny, in the Magicboy PCB you can read "(C) 2004 JD Sleep"...

Those two 0.01 caps should be a 10:1 ratio for a vibe effect (ie 0.01 and 0.1).

i thought it looked a little strange.. is the phase45 a 2 phase phaser or 3? ive been reading up on univibing phasers and they all document modding a 4 phases. perhaps the phase90 is more suitable for modding into a vibe?

Try it the way I posted the schematic.
I traced it personally and built a new one... It's like that.
Removed the schemo from my site too.
My apologies.

I don't recall JD ever offering a Phase 45 board. Did I miss something? ???
JD builds pcbs for some of the pedal builders.
