Title: Newbie schematic question - separated area?
Post by: tweaked on October 01, 2006, 11:32:27 PM
What is the separated area I see on some schematics and how do you incorporate this into the rest of the schematic? Here's an example (see the area in the upper-left)

That's the power supply and voltage divider.

Thanks for the reply. So would this be the right way to incorporate it into the schematic?(see link below) And just out of curiosity why don't they just connect them to the rest of the circuit when making the schematic?

Yes.
But there are other 4.5V spots on that schem and that would involve more lines to draw!

Ah! Ok... so all the 4.5's need to be fed to the 4.5 in the power section and the 9v areas need to all go to the 9v, is that right? So that's why it's separated - because it's neater than drawing all the connections... I get it. (or do I? LOL)
