I need some input on this... I have a toriodal tranny that I got on ebay and I was going to use it to build a power supply. Half way through the project I realized that the grounds will be shared between the different boxes being powered. Will I be at risk for ground loops? I'm tired of hearing the wall warts hum the same old song. I did think about using RGs spyder only with flatpack transformers. I would use 8 flatpacks to power 8 independent outputs. I'm not sure which design would be better or if there is a better design.
