i got polyester film mylar caps. I kno i'm a bit paranoid but are these fine for FX builds?

bumped! sorry! its better then posting a new topic

how come they don't look like the usual smooth plastic caps? my ones are covered in a squarish plastic casing

those are the pro looking expensive caps! 

Those will be fine.  Some say they sound better, my ears can't tell.

The only thing I dont like about them is that you have to have the holes spaced the right distance apart.  With a regualr cap you can bend the legs to pretty much any distance apart, but I believe the legs on these are a little too rigid for that.
