Title: Red Llama trouble
Post by: yeeshkul on January 16, 2008, 12:21:44 PM
I've just breadboarded Red Llama following the tonepad's schematics http://www.tonepad.com/getFile.asp?id=119 (http://www.tonepad.com/getFile.asp?id=119)
using CD4049UBE. Does it have the same pinout like CD4049? There is almost no fuzz going out of it an the schematics don't match Mark M's layout :(
It is really loud, but clean ....

That's the one to use.   Double check your pin connections. Sometimes it's easy to miscount them.

hahaaa, finally sorted :) I was my fault, i don't know where but it must have been some bug on the breadboard. Actually i am very nicely surprised with the sound :o ! I expected it to be much more "chemical" and it is not at all.
