Hey,
I am building an AMZ Classic Mini-Booster. R1 is the pulldown resistor. It calls for a 2.2M resistor. I don't have a 2.2M. I have a 2.7M and a 1M. Should I try one of these values or just leave it out until I get a 2.2M resistor?
Thanks!
Matthew
1M is fine
get 2M2 just in case its real necessary and try it in there at some point
1M is good. it just needs to be low enough to discharge coupling caps, but high enough to not effect your tone. 1M won't effect it at all. consider that often 100k-500k pots are used which tie down to ground.
the schematic i'm looking at actually uses a 1m resistor anyway?

Look again... ;)
The 1 Meg you're looking at "isn't" a pulldown resistor.
In any case, the 1M OR the 2M7 will work...I would personally opt for the 2M7 in this circuit...
ohh yeah.
i can't see the 2m2. i like using the 2m2's because it's the last value that you can easilly get in metal film. nobody around me stocks it but small bear does. use the 2m7 and just leave it in there, unless you want to be super true to the original artist's design.

yeah, its just not on the schematic
its probably got a space on the board though
The 2.7M will the job.
There is a space on the pcb for the optional pulldown.
Enjoy the pedal!

Thanks everybody! I'm going with the 2M7. Thanks for the project Jack. I built one last week and it's a great sounding pedal!

The 2M7 worked great! Another project done. I love this pedal!
