Hello
I have build the tremolous lune
and is a very good pedal
but I want a feature... I want that the oscillator reset on very strong notes...
I have made some try and I have noted that shorting the 10uf cap in the oscillator section
actually reset the oscillator and I have thinked that with a simple fet I can do this.
The problem: I must sense the input from guitar, amplify, square, and send an impulse to this fet
when the input is strong enough....
Anyone have tried this??
Schematic?
I've read the ggg article on auto wah but I don't know how large is guitar signal, what frequencies have,
if I can filter a frequency that is tipical of guitar, and definitely how to project this
Help!!!
i think that it can be incorporated in any sort of effects, f. ex. phaser (in my phase 90!!)
thanks

what happens when you reset the oscilator? what is the effect?
Perhaps you could apply the same thing as in auto wahs.
Look at Mark Hammer papers:

Or you could look at the article on GEO with the automatic start up of the LFO for the EA Tremolo.

kidding aside, I tried to find the article you mention and came up empty! A search for EA Tremolo comes up with 0 results?

Vibra-matic - Spiff up your EAN Tremolo
Here you go.

Now take that look off your face.
Or should I say, thank you Mr. R.G. for not letting our mind set in lazyness. :D
Now let your imagination flow freely.

It have a sync input....
maybe I can program a tap-tempo function.... and have the definitive tremolo ever.....
like the guyatone optical tremolo http://guyatone.com/GstC04.php (http://guyatone.com/GstC04.php)
