Title: Quick Dual Gang Question
Post by: kurtlives on April 12, 2008, 01:10:41 PM
Hi there

I am building a pedal and it uses a 100K dual gang pot. On the layout/schem the pot is labelled as 1a, 2a, 3a, 1b, 2b, 3b. Now is a the top or bottom lug?

Also on the layout there is a spot for a buffer out. I have no idea how to hook up the buffer if its true bypass. Anyone wanna shed some light.

Thanks

Some schematics don't follow the rule but I believe B's are the rear terminals, ie. the terminals furthest from the shaft.

a is the first section of pot lugs
b is the second (furtherest away)
it actually doesnt matter, cause both sections of the dual gang pot do the same thing, so if you connected 1,2 and 3b to the first (a) section of pot lugs, and vis versa, it would still work

what pedal is it (can you post the schem?) cause i might be able to help with the buffer thing
