Title: using ground on the GEO +/- 12vdc dual supply regulated
Post by: bent on June 11, 2008, 07:48:36 AM
i'm using the GEO +/- 12vdc dual supply regulated, and just want to know , if i connect a board or a led on the +12vdc can i use the ground from the wall transformer ( the ground that goes in the dual supply regulated board) or i MUST use the ground that come's out of the board....
exemple:

+ 24vdc  -> -> ->    PCB DUAL    -> -> ->    +12vdc
              -> -> ->     SUPPLY       -> -> ->    ground
ground   -> -> ->   REGULATED   -> -> ->    -12vdc
   ^                                                                ^
this ground                   or                            this ground

i wish that i explain clearely my question.... ;D

thank's
bent

Use the ground that you are using to measure the +12v from. The ground on the output of the regulator board.

You want the bold green ground.
