Title: New fuzz face built- where to get good transistors
Post by: teletroy on October 23, 2008, 12:16:06 PM
So I built a fuzzface on one of Analogman's Sun Face boards (THANKS MIKE) - I populated it with NTE123a's because that was all I had.  It sounds good, so I'm not sure if will sound better with different transistors or not, but figured I should give it a shot.

Where can I get a set of NPN silicon transistors for the fuzzface?  BC108s or is there a better option?

thanks

I've got some great Germanium PNP's, actually the same Mike uses for the standard Sun Face (unless I'm mistaken and he uses different ones now.)
Not exactly NPN silicon though...  ;D

See my sig for the FS thread.
