Title: Effect switching scheme help - pulling my hair out here.
Post by: blues_mang on October 24, 2008, 12:23:46 AM
Ok, I've read both Dano's Order Switcher and Geo's Juggler until I've committed them to memory. I've drawn this out more times than I'd like to admit and wired it up wrong twice, so after more than a week of struggling with this, it's time to break down and ask those with higher knowledge than myself. If I had any hair, I'd be pulling it out by now. :icon_eek: Anyway, here's what I'm trying to do: I have a boost and a distortion in the same enclosure. I want to be able to choose the boost independently with it's own 3PDT footswitch or the distortion independently with it's own 3PDT footswitch and then use a 4PDT toggle to switch the order.... boost before distortion when they are both on or distortion before boost when they are both on. And of course true bypass when they are both off. I'm beginning to think that this is not possible. Someone tell me I'm wrong (unless I'm not wrong). And if someone could provide a sketch or diagram, I'd really be grateful.

I think this will work:

I have not drawn the switching of the Effect LED's , because I think thats obvious.
