Title: AD3208 IC source
Post by: nosamiam on November 08, 2008, 08:34:43 PM
I've returned to debugging my AD3208 which I gave up on a couple of years ago. I just found this thread http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=33655.0 and realized it may be a matter of just buying a different pair of 3208s. I got mine from Smallbear. Last night I did notice the voltages were all weird, so I guess that explains it.

Does anyone have a source for chips with the correct pinout? I'd be a happy guy if I could find some!

here are the pinouts of both chipversions on one datasheet:

when clicking to view, be sure you have the simplyfied chinese language kit installed in your Acrobat Reader!

At first I was thinking, now how does that help me (sorry, it's been a looong sleepless night). I mean, what kind of hack job am I gonna have to do to get this to work. Then I realized the chips are pretty much the same, just 180 degrees from each other. A couple of cut traces and copper-side jumpers and I should be golden!

Thanks! You're a lifesaver!
