My friend wants me to build him one. Anybody made one of them? Where can I find a layout?

yes, Tonepad is the place to look for it. The MXR nois Gate is a grate gate. BUT read the build reports carefolly. This one is a bit tricky to get to work nicely. The thing you want is for the gate to be fast as lightning and the decay to be really smooth and not shoppy.

built one, sounds cool... easy build.
until i fried the 3080 when i tried it in a ross comp. :icon_mad:

It's actually for a drummer with electronic pads mixed in with the set which he runs with a TS808 at times, and need the noise down..

Well, it doesn't hurt to try. :)

Anyway, if you read the build reports for the Noise Gate at Tonepad, there's many comments on the mods for it.

Hi Km-r,
How is our PCB on Sonic Maximizer is it cooked already  :D

To the OP, try this noise gate you'll like it.
Km-r and Dimebugg has PCB layout for this and you can PM these great guys.
