Title: String Ringer VCO problem
Post by: Henrik_J on March 23, 2009, 07:01:06 AM
Hi

Just built the String Ringer from markusw most excellent layout. Just one problem, Sin and tri wave is much quieter than the square and saw waves. Is this normal? Double checked everything, solder joints, IC2 voltages, resistors everything seems fine. Has anyone had the same experience with this build?

IIRC, it was the same with my build.

Peace,

Markus

Hi

Thanks! Is the a way to fix it? Tried substituting some resistors with out any apparent change in volume.

Good question. Need to have a look at the schematics.
To be honest, I didn't bother to change it.

Had a look at the schematics. Sorry, can't help.  :icon_redface:
Maybe someone else could chime in?

Hi

Gonna have another go at it this evening. I'll report back if I figure it out. Does anyone know if the Lovetone acts the same way?
