Title: Are either of these AMZ mosfet boost perf layouts verified?
Post by: trotskyismyniece on June 27, 2009, 07:08:31 PM
I tried this one first and ran into some problems.  First no noise so I switched the BS170 around and got noise and a (nice) change in EQ but no boost.  Dunno if I fried the transistor the first time around or what.  I know I should debug, but it's such a simple build, and my original build was so sloppy that it's probably easier for me to do a whole new one.

This is the first one I tried:

I think I like the look of this one better because it shows exactly where the drain and gate are so i can switch around the bs170 accordingly:

I then noticed neither of them seem to be marked as verified, so has anyone built these with success?
