Im basically building a trotsky drive with a MPSA13 transistor and I was wondering in the trotsky drive the dirt control is after a 3.3k resistor coming from 9v + into the circuit. How would it change if I moved the dirt control to the ground side of the transistor like on the Deluxe Bazz Fuss? (from the mpsa13 through a 1kB pot to ground?) How would this effect the gain being that I see most MPSA13 biased with a 10k resistor I thought the move might be warrented.
