Title: ? about vero layout
Post by: agoldoor on July 18, 2011, 04:43:57 PM
Hey,

Big question about the following layout below:
http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f326/psychobilly80/Layouts/render-1.gif

On this layout, I see the three terminals of the trimmer connected to the vero. In almost all cases I've come across before, two of the terminals of the trimpot are put together, not with all three connected to the vero.

Can someone please tell me what to do here? I'm pretty confused.

Can you see the cut-out under R4? The third terminal is soldered in place just for sturdiness it looks like. It does not connect to anything. The variable resistance is set with the top pin and the bottom left pin. I believe the top one is pin 2 and the bottom left pin 3. (or 1)

exactly, its not connected. you can also get 2 leg trimmers if it is cheaper and saves space.
