I recently Frankensteined together a Colorsound One Knob Fuzz, a BMP tone stack and a LBP-1. The LBP-1 acts as a gain recovery after the passive BMP tone control. The OKF and the LPB-1 each have their own volume control, but I wired them up with a single 3PDT switch. The result was much better than I had expected, with a wide range of sounds to be had. The one limiting factor is that, while you can get an array of interesting sounds with both the effects rolled back, the pedal is then below unity gain. Would it be possible to to wire up a master volume which controls both of the effects simultaneously while still keeping individual volume controls for the respective effects?

Create a "volume" box , which is , a buffer on the input and a volume pot . I think you'll need a output buffer too if i'm not wrong :icon_neutral:
if the lpb is rolled back, couldnt you just turn it up? to get to unity....?
if the lpb is acting as a recovery stage, it wouldnt be imparting any other effect at its volume pot other than level. so if its last you can just set it for unity...
in other words, if you need it (lpb) to be low volume to get the desired result, its your amp's input that is being overdriven and you may have to turn your amp up louder if you want to feed it a smaller signal and keep the same level at the speaker.
otoh....
if - the lpb is too bright at unity find the right level and tack on a cap to ground to compensate... or add a 'presence' pot to roll off some high end after the lpb

Thanks for the response. Yeah, the LPB is brightening up the tone quite a bit. Good idea about the presence knob, though. I'll give that a shot.
