Where do you guys buy your perfboard? Where is the best deal? Im in the U.S. btw
You should probably shop around and see for yourself. Occasionally you'll come across a steal on amazon or ebay, but for consistently cheap parts (including perfboard as far as I've seen) I recommend tayda (http://www.taydaelectronics.com/). They have perf and strip board and from what I've heard it's pretty solid.
Tayda is great. I buy almost everything there. Their perf and vero is very good and cheaper than anywhere else I've seen.
I've been buying form this guy on eBay for a while:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320536845485&ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:US:1123
it's over 3 times larger than the perf on Tayda and much less expensive per square mm (130mm x 250mm = 32500mm @ $3.99 vs 142mm x 74m = 10508mm @ $2.30) ...you even can offer a little lower than $3.99
the large size also lets you chop it into many different sizes/shapes without waste

Yeah ... 3 cents DC offset ...
Bad Poker Face
Both wrong, and my shipping guess was a little off, too....you are forgetting that Tayda adds shipping....of course, if you buy more, the shipping will decrease per item, but even if you buy a few, it'll still be more expensive...and you also do not have the flexibility of being able to cut a large piece into various shapes and sizes without waste.
130mm x 250mm = 32500mm @ $3.99 vs 142mm x 74m = 10508mm @ $2.14

Don't consider it expensive though , i buy most of my stuff there on tayda , if you aren't looking at my order list on E14
Buying from BusBoard Proto Systems (http://www.busboard.us/) won't save you any money, but they make high quality products, and their boards are really convenient for prototypes and one-offs. Highly recommended if you're a breadboarder. They have a number of different boards. Here's an example of 3:

If you're a strip-boarder, buy them from Aron and support the forum. :)
