Thanks for the help but i didn't really understand the difference between 3PDT and 2PDT and what they actually do
and my second question is where do i connect the whole thing to my dr. boogie schematic?

you've made the pcb right?...

3pdt switches 3 ways , this way you can have an led on off too...

2pdt switches 2 ways...no led.

tip: for this pedal you will want to have a shielded input from switch to pcb or you will get radio interference ok.

i use rca lead cable,  you'll want to connect the core to the switch and to pcb in, and the outer sleeve connected to pcb ground....other end of sleeve cover with heatshrink. (no connection)

No i have used this board http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vero-Board-Microboard-RS-Stock-No-434-841-/190283487656?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2c4dc799a8#ht_811wt_1163
but i found a video that explains that http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IVt5ItB2HA

and what do you mean by shielded input?

as i said above...

to stop radio interference/noise.....

cut up an rca cable...it has 2 wires in it...the inner (core)  and the outer(sleeve)
