Okay don't laugh at me... While Noobing around with a modded rangemaster circuit using some AC128s I snapped off the leg to the base. Can I solder/rig something back on? I'm waiting for some more exciting parts and want to build a fuzz-face something or other to stay sharp in the meantime.

Why should you not have 90o angles? Do the electrons bunch up in the corners?

The funny answer is also the actual answer:  If you can.

Not very likely unless it broke more than an 1/8" away from the body. If it's broke off right at the body, then it's pretty much trash now.

There is a little nubbin, less than 1/8" but something regardless. I have some super lo-temp 'Chip Kwik' solder. I'm just gonna try it, I'll let you know. Thanks for the advice! ;D

i've done it numerous times w/ less than 1/8"...just remember to NOT hold the solder iron on there for any extended time and tin the nub beforehand.

good luck
