VOX VF002 doesn't turn tremolo on and off AC30CCH

Hey, so My VF002 two button footswitch doesn't turn my Tremolo on and off, but it turns the reverb on and off just fine. The trem still works on the amp when the footswitch isn't plugged in. Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Is it just the switch or is there something going on with the amp itself?
