Now that this forum includes the reverse engineering for the Fulltone Clyde Wah deluxe http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=100051.0 and standard http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=98514.0 models, can someone please tell me how I can add an LED to my standard without changing its tone?

I've looked at the schematic for the deluxe, but it's LED seems to be interconnected with components the purpose of which eludes me. I would imagine that a more simple implementation would connect an LED and a resistor to the 9 V power source and the stomp switch in some way. Please advise.

The led on the clyde deluxe works on a millennium bypass type circuit.
You will need to get a three pole switch and use the third pole to switch on the led.

Your pedal only has a two pole stomp switch, right?

I'm sorry sir, we only have the regular ohms.

I believe that the existing stomp switch is 2-pole. If I replace it with a 3-pole switch as you suggest, and connect an LED and resistor to the 9v power source, won't this also add to the existing circuitry and change the tone?
