Hi All!

I'm working on the GGG Triangle muff kit, but am short an 82k resistor. Could I substitute it for a 100k without drastic results? Noticed most of the other schematics have a 100k in that R14 position.

Thanks!

Yes, it will not be drastic.

However, you can parallel a 470K with a 100K  and get very, very close to 82K - if you have a 470K.

It is much easier for us to help you out if you will post a link to the schematic in question so we don't have to go searching for which resistor is R14, for instance.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

as RG wrote, you can use any combination of 2 (or more) resistors you have on hand to get very close two 82K

390K with 100K  or 2 x 39K's will do. you should have all of those.
