preamp for tda2003 amp suggestions

could anyone give me the simplest preamp with a gain stage using a tl072 and 3pcs. j201 FETS as its all I have for now? Im planning of using the TL072 as in put and output buffers and  the j201's as parts of the gain stage. If possible. it could be a high gain preamp.

Look at reply #20 from Jdansti. I put this together last night (with the pre-amp section) and the pre-amp made my little 3 watt kit sound really good.

I used a couple different distortion pedals before it, and it sounded good to me.

could i use 18 volts to pwer it up because I am using 18 volts supply for the tda2003 power amp and I'm planning  on sticking the preamp and power amp together using  the same power supply..

You would have to look at the spec sheet for whatever chip you use.
