Q About MC1495 IC Chip

Is there any difference between the MC1495D and the MC1495BP functionally? There is also a MC1495P. D is the SMD type and P/BP is the dual inline thru hole pins.

Is the BP one of those buffered deals like the CD4049 where there is buffered & unbuffered versions? Or is only a matter of operating temperature ability? Anyone know the answer to this question? I looked at the data sheet but it doesn't really say, or at least I haven't found where it does say...
