Any experience with MCP41100 digital pots?

I ordered a couple of these from Tayda, and was pondering doing something with them, using an Arduino or Raspberry Pi.  Anybody have experience with these?

(I only ordered 2.  Should have ordered 3 for a software-controlled Big Muff!)

I don't yet, but it's on my to-do list. Digitally controlled analog is something I've been dreaming about for the sake of recall. It's a novelty for most builds, but then you look at the Fuzz Factory and the interdependence (correct word?) of each pot and it almost becomes a necessity.

I've got nothing to add, sorry, but commented to stay in the loop on updates.
