Ferric chloride price hike?

I tried the vinegar/hydrogen peroxide/salt mix and it did work twice for me. I was using copper board from Maplins in the UK and I think the copper layer was quite thin. When I tried it on a better quality copper board, it just discoloured the copper without etching all the way through.

my ferric chloride mixing rate is just a guess. I read somewhere that it is not too important, but too weak is a time wasting exercise.

if anyone nearby can use a bucket, let me know. you can have one of mine.
