Em-Drive Gain pot problems.

My first real pedal build, hence the noob question  .

I built the Em-Drive and when i put it into the enclosure it does not work. I figured out it has to do with the gain pot because when I take it out of the enclosure it works again. Is this pot not suppose to be grounded by the enclosure and in return shorting out or did I do something wrong somewhere? I could get it to work if I break the contact between the enclosure and the pot but I want to make sure I do it right and not take any short cuts.

Can you post some pictures with it in the enclosure?
