I stopped by my local Microcenter today and found they had a 14 watt amplifier kit.  The Mfgr website is http://vakits.com/NF-1344. The schematic is http://vakits.com/sites/default/files/image/1344/sch1344.pdf.  I have provided two pictures that show my current issue.  I have completed the pcb board but I am having a problem with the power jack.  The one I have laying around doesn't work when mounted in the enclosure.  It is grounding out.  It works when not mounted to the shell.  I am using a Boss power cable to provide power to the pedal so I need a panel mount jack that would work.  I am ordering a bunch of things from Mouser soon.

Also, if someone could provide me some advice on the enclosure.  I lost the screws somehow.  Anyone know what size I'm looking for?

You need to use one of these.

The jack that you are trying to use is not isolated. When used with a negative center power system the +V is grounding out on the metal box.
I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)

This link has replacement screws for a variety of enclosures, but you have to know your model for it to help much: http://www.smallbearelec.com/servlet/Categories?category=Hardware%3AEnclosure+Screws

Try 6/32 screws from a local hardware store. They are inexpensive and you don't pay shipping!
