Self contained small DIY spring reverb

Sounds so great with guitar and keyboard! I'm thinking about building one up, but main problem is that I haven't got electronic knowledges ,but I know how to solder and I've made a couple of stripboard fx's. Could someone draw or tell me how the wiring goes? Because I'm lost. And by the way, where do you get those springs? are the kind that are inside stratos tremolos?
