so i accidently bought pcb mount alpha foot switches from small bear. the pins do not match the vero board im using and i dont really wanna wait for a return. is it possible to solder wire directly to the pins? or any ideas on how to make these work? thanks

You just have to tin the pins and the wire before soldering. All of my potentiometers are board mount but I rarely mount them on a board. So I do that a lot, just with pots. If you want I'll trade you the one you wanted for the pcb mounted one.

I'm sorry sir, we only have the regular ohms.

I've used these by wrapping the wires around the pins and then soldering it in place.
You can make them fit on vero by drilling or filing out the holes.

You can also tin the wire to be used, you should always tin the wires anyway, and bend it to make a hook and solder it to the pot lug.  No need to wind the wires.
