Where can I get the exact type of wire used in Boss & EHX etc?

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, the search terms were ubiquitous.

I've had some trouble finding the perfect stompbox wire, I definitely can't get it at radioshack, and I won't be able to tell from a picture online. Is anyone willing to divulge their trusted source?

I'm not sure where Boss & EHX get their wire (you would have to ask them) but here's a recent thread on the size, and type of wire and where some of us acquire it.
