Guys! I made vox clyde wah using fuzzcentral schematic with few minor alterations (some resistor values) and that what i came up with :

Transistors are CDIL BC109B with hfe ~400 both

I used whipple inductor , and ICAR pot from dandyjob.com and it sounds freakin' cool!! I really didn't expect this to sound so smooth and nice!

BUT! I have some little noise that comes along with signal and it sounds scratchy when I rock my pedal up and down ... It's pretty subtle but i want to get rid of it

I read R.G.'s article about wah  on geofex (btw great article , thank you so much!) but i still cannot figure out which resistor to change ... tried to change resistors that go from 9v+ to transistor collectors but that didn't help at all...

Please guys , I need your help!

Cheers!

Could be the pot clean it, or change it !

Thanks , Mich! But it's not the pot ... subtle noise always present but it's only noticeable when pedal is toe down cause of frequency change...

Pot doesn't make noise itself

I think I need to change some resistors but i cannot figure out where to start :-\

the way pots are made, the R range goes wonky at the extreme ends.

have you tried changing where the gear rides?

also, condomback pots (often) go scratchy very fast, regardless of brand.
my life is a tribute to the the great men and women who held this country together when the world was in trouble. my debt cannot be repaid, but i will do my best.

Damn ... I checked everything once again and listened more carefully ... I think that pot is a noisy guy , will try to clean it somehow

Thanks everyone!
