PT2399 project (echo base switching + taptation + DBD?)

Hello everybody. I just ended up designing a "new" pedal. That's not quite new, it's just a new layout for a PT2399 based delay with integrated Echo Base style switching (which allows tails - no selection for direct cut) and a Taptation, all on one board. No LFO modulation though (don't need it/like it)
Since I never built the Echo Base itself, but I've made both Rebote2.5 and Deep Blue Delay, I was wondering what's the result of all those tweaked values in IN/OUT section and IN/OUT PT2399 filterings.
I mean: I found the DBD quite good sounding, even I didn't like the 1:1 wet/dry ratio and the level pot range. I didn't like that much the Rebote 2.5.
Can someone spend a few words about the Echo Base pure delay sound?

Thanks  ;)

Nice idea. This video should give you a good idea what the Echo Base sounds like

I had a listen to a Deep Blue Delay review on youtube and it sounds similar to the Echo Base. They are both a lot brighter and less analogue sounding than the Rebote.

Well seems nice - considering that youtube really shines out anything  ;D
Will try the standard echo base values then.
Thanks

Hi there!

I was just wondering if you completed this project. The combination of tap tempo and tails on one board is just what I am after in a DIY delay!

This is a similar project to what I've been tinkering with on my own! Mine has more of less become taptation + DBD, but using the tails switching from ValveWizard's Small Time. I've been a bit sidetracked with band/life events, but I really need to get that breadboard back out! I went with the Small Time's switching, since it's very easy to add into the DBD.
