Turning a Morley PWA into a PWD!?!

G'day all! I've had this Morley PWA since the early 90's. Opened it up a couple of times to fix the battery snap but never paid any attention to the board
because that was long before I got interested in building. Turns out they used one board for the three models in the Pro Series line.

So I'd like to turn this thing into a distortion wah. Would I be able to just fill in the empty positions on the board to add the distortion? All the values etc. are printed on top. There's also pads for the Gain and tone controls for the distortion.
