Just finished this built today, very easy due to PCB mounted pots. I've connected In and Out wires to the ones marked as "D" (as for the drive). Boost pot doesnt work (but thats obvious, since this part of the circuit is ommited), but when I max the gain, volume and tone controls the overall sound is low volume.

I've carefully checked the parts values, they are all fine except that I used 1N4007 for D3 instead of 1N4001, and at first when I realized I don't have any 9.1V Zeners I've connected in series 4.7V and 5.1V and soldered two pairs in the right spots. After checking I've only connected one of them instead of the pair but the problem still was the same. I've read that they are for transistor protection, so something else must be the issue.

I've also used 2N7000 instead of BS170, but I've turned them 180 degrees. And I used 5kB instead of 5kC

Tomorrow 9.1V Zeners should arrive, but Im sure that wont fix anything. Some part may be bad... I will replace all transistors when I solder the correct Zeners and then I'll see if that works.

Cheers
Maciek

Oh and btw. How do you like this graphic?

Its the first time I actually designed a graphic for my pedal. I believe the text is too small, but I'll have to test print it and see. Still some minor adjustements needed.

Post your voltages at the gate, source, and drain of each MOSFET.

A man learns on his mistakes... After checking voltages on mosfets I saw there's something wrong with Q2. It had almost 9V on Drain, but 0V on Gate and Source. I looked at the back of PCB and poof! Solder bridge! Works awesome, I played it only for like 5 minutes, but It really seem good, it almost sound like my Peavey Bandit on High Gain channel, with a little bit less gain, but that would be fixed with be boost when I connect the switches :)

Thanks Jon!
