I've given up  ::) on an SSM 2164 filter in this, after 6 separate breadboardings. I think back to basics - A CA3094 sweep generator and a Bifilter Follower filter. Funnily enough I don't recall any jitter in the Space Drum VCO sweep, I'd forgotten that - must be the "Statins" I take!!

What went wrong with the SSM2164 filter? Which schematic did you use? I've always found it a pretty easy chip to get running.

I might be able to help you with an SSM2164 filter if you wanted to give it another go. I've worked on one or two. I've got a state-variable design, and there's a nice four pole LPF over at Olivier Gillet's Mutable Instruments site - one of his filter boards. In fact, he's got the SVF design over there too.

Go for it!  Never hurts to have the info if it's available.   :icon_wink:
Breadboard it!
