Hey guys,

Sorry if this post is located somewhere else, I'm sure this question has been asked a million times, but I was unable to find it. I have what I believe is an early 80s model Deluxe Memory Man w/Chorus that I am attempting to convert from wall power to standard 2.1mm jack. I have found that 24v is needed to power the unit, but I am not sure how to properly wire the charge pump I have made to the unit. I am not too familiar with transformers so I am unsure what the extra wire would be for and what I can do to fix this. Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers,

Duncan

24VAC is what the original transformer put out but you could run it off 18vdc with a small regulator board that regulates it down to -15.7vdc.  You'd need to rewire the power LED and patch the power to the board after the 2N6111 series regulator circuit.
