Cheap AC30 Simulator Pedal

Learned this from a crafty neighborhood kid...take a Vox AC30 AmPlug, attach it to a GGG single loopbox & attach it to your amp@ a clean setting. Leave the unit ON & use the true bypass switching to activate.  Semi-authentic AC30 clean tone with treble boost (very jangly).  The gain on the AC30 AmPlug comes nowhere near a Brian May tone so use your other fxs to 'season' the overall sound.

Anybody got a Schemo for the AC30 AmPlug?
Just intrested to see whats inside?
I'd hazard a guess at a mosfet booster.

you know, i've had one of those for years, never thought to try opening it up.
i just might do that when i get back from my vacation.

Theres a schemo over on the other forum and it seems like quite an involved circuitry for such a small device.
Probably SMD.
I dont know that i'd be tempted to open it. That would depend on if i thought i might be sacrificing it and would i be prepared to replace it?
