Gain squeals when opened up all the way on my lovepedal purple plexi 800

If anyone could help it would be great. Whenever I turn the gain pot all the way up on the pedal it squeals.

A guy on the page said he had the same problem and changed the r5 to a 10K and that fixed his but not mine.

Change R3 to 22 ohms and see if that helps. If it does, you can go higher until the squeal totally disappears...

Other changes but try R3 first.

C1 - 370pF
C2 - 4.7n
C3 - 4.7n
C6 - 100n
C7 - 47n

Then report back or we will hunt you down and eat your brains!

Thanks a lot changing r3 worked. I put a 22 in and that helped but there was still a little squeal so I put a10 in after that and that took all of the squeal out.

Okay new problem. I wasn't really paying attention to anything else but once I upped the resistance the pot for the gain doesn't do anything, it just stays at one level.
