NPN Diode Compression OpAmp, Does this look right?

Playing with diode compression Op-Amps and wanted to build Joe Davissons with NPNs just to open up transistor choices a little and wondered if what i've drawn here (which does work although at first I was getting oscillation, but it went and never returned so i'm not sure where that was coming from, might have been components touching on the breadboard) offers the same functionality/properties or if I need to make alterations to get the diode compression and stability.

Can't find much good reading on this specific application.
