howdy. i got an old DOD FX90 delay with a broken switch. i want to install a new 3pdt switch in it, but, it's tricky. i feel like i'm really close to getting it, but i'm stuck in the weeds... anyone done this before, or maybe point me in the right direction? thanks all!

I'm sure that there are members that would jump over each other to help you but.....you have to make it a little bit easier for them.

Can you please post a schematic or a link for the delay you are inquiring about?

I take it that the effect on/off momentary switch is broken and you would like to replace it with a 3PDT true bypass set up?

Correct?
I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)

Hi--

Do you have a specific reason for wanting to mod the pedal for true-bypass? If the effect works (which you should be able to confirm by momentarily shorting the leads that go the existing switch), why not simply replace the switch? This one:

was common in many older DOD pedals.

Re-working the bypass of a pedal like this that uses electronic switching can be done, but it is not simple. Someone would have to have worked out a step-by-step procedure to walk you through exactly what traces to cut and where to connect what. Then you'd have to follow that Exactly. I would think it better to fix the pedal, if possible.
