How to map frequency response???

For just frequency response I use a Presonus AudioBox 22VSL for input/output and control it with FuzzMeasure software for the MAC.

Comes in handy for setting up PA systems as well.

I often like using a swept sine and a spectral analysis program , although I will admit that I use it for audio applications other than pedals.

There's a nice program called Spectra Plus that will allow you to use the sound card built into your computer.  You can download a 30 day trial to see if it works in your application.

If you are looking for accurate frequency responses and not just running difference curves, it's worth the time to calibrate the system beforehand.
