Anyone know how I can eliminate some of the high end frequency on my Deja Vibe. There seems to be a brief ice pick treble frequency at times. It would be great to tame it a bit with a modification.

low pass filter patched in some place before the output?  Passive tone control type thing?  2 or three parts and you're in business

Shouldn't be too hard to shave off some high end if that's all you're looking for.

That sounds doable. Can you give me the specifics?

If you google low pass filter you'll see that it's two parts.  a resistor and a cap.  There are calculators online to figure out what frequencies you're attenuating.

If you want to make the filter variable as in a tone control make the resistor a pot instead.  There are a multitude of good tone controls available if you search around here and google a bit.
