Following a "guts I would like to see" request, and a stroke of good bidding luck, here it is... the Dunlop GCB-95O Octave Fuzz Wah.

Trace side (mirrored)

Trace side enhanced

Component side traces (board is double sided)

Main board components

Small board traces and components

Now... could someone please draw up a schematic. I'm pooped!! :lol:

Not a bad pedal. Not an "in your face" octave, but a really nice fuzz. The wah sweep is nice and vocally (is that a word?). Video coming soon.

Update;

Here's a video of pedal in action. As it so happens, the previous owner(s) noodled in it, replacing the original pots with wrong values. Still needs some work, but you get the gist of it here.

UKToecutter has graciously put his time into a schematic, which I'll post as soon as we finalize some details.

can tell by the soldering job.   ;)

from the HD14028 datasheet:

QuoteHD 14028 is a type S7 star in the constellation Andromeda. It shines at an apparent visual magnitude of 8.6.

;D

EDIT: what's all the CMOS for? Quad switches, XOR gates. Is the Andromeda star chip a decoder? Is it a CD4028?
